Physics puzzler where you aim a cannon and bank a basketball off walls, switches and moving parts into the hoop across 30 levels.
Cannon Basketball 4 is the fourth in a small series of physics puzzle games where a cannon replaces the player and a basketball replaces the projectile. Drag back from the cannon to set angle and power, release, and watch the ball bounce. You get unlimited shots, so the challenge is working out the route rather than surviving a miss.
There are 30 levels, the back half of them a hard mode, and each one holds three stars placed somewhere awkward. Later stages block the direct line to the hoop and make you hit switches, ride moving platforms or knock out breakable blocks in the right sequence first, which turns a shooting game into a reading-the-room game.
Controls
Mouse only: drag back from the cannon to set angle and power, release to fire
Tips
- Read the whole level before the first shot. Switches usually have to be triggered in a specific order.
- When the hoop is shielded, aim at the wall rather than the basket and let the bank shot do the work.
- Full power is rarely right. A softer shot on the correct angle keeps the ball on the platforms.
