Dadish
You are a radish and a father. Your children have wandered off across a series of increasingly hostile levels.
Dadish is a precision platformer with a one-joke premise and surprisingly serious level design. You play a radish with legs looking for his missing children, one per level, and the writing between stages is genuinely funny in a deadpan way.
Underneath the cuteness it is a tight, demanding platformer. The jump is floaty but precise, enemies can be bounced on to reach otherwise impossible ledges, and later levels expect you to chain three or four bounces without touching ground. Levels are short, deaths are instant and restarts are immediate, which is exactly the right structure.
Controls
Arrow keys or WASD to move, up or Space to jump
Tips
- Bounce on enemies to gain height. Several ledges are unreachable from a normal jump and are meant to be.
- The jump has variable height, so tap for short hops and hold for the full arc.
- Levels are built around one specific trick each. If a jump feels impossible, you are missing the intended route.
