Bob the Robber 2
A side-on stealth game about picking locks, dodging cameras and knocking out guards who never see it coming.
Bob the Robber 2 is a stealth puzzle game played in profile. You move along a cross-section of a building, hiding in shadow, timing your movement around camera cones and guard patrol routes, and hacking terminals with little minigames.
It is gentler than most stealth games and better for it — getting spotted raises an alarm rather than instantly failing, so there is room to recover. The levels are built as self-contained puzzles with a clear intended order, and the satisfaction is in working out which door the code opens before you have to run for it.
Controls
Arrow keys or WASD to move, up to interact, down to hide
Tips
- Wait for a camera to sweep away rather than trying to run under it. The cones overlap less than they look.
- Knock out guards from behind while they walk away. Approaching head-on always raises the alarm.
- Search every room for cash before leaving. The exit is usually reachable long before the level is finished.
