Bad Ice-Cream 3
The last of the trilogy, with the trickiest levels and enemies built specifically to punish the habits the first two taught.
Bad Ice-Cream 3 from 2012 closes the series and is squarely aimed at people who finished the other two. The mechanics are unchanged — move, build ice, break ice, collect fruit — but the levels are built around knowing exactly how far a block of ice extends and how long an enemy takes to reach you.
Several levels are closer to timed puzzles than to arcade stages, requiring a specific order of fruit collection that only becomes apparent after failing once. It is the hardest entry and the one most worth playing with a second person.
Controls
Arrow keys for player one, WASD for player two. Direction key to make and break ice
Tips
- Work out the collection order before moving. Many levels have exactly one sequence that works.
- Break ice to open escape routes in advance rather than building when something is already chasing you.
- Two players should cover opposite halves of the board, since the timers here rarely allow backtracking.
