Five Nights at Freddy's 3
Thirty years on, one animatronic is left. You cannot block it, only lure it away while your own systems fail.
Five Nights at Freddy's 3 puts you in a horror attraction built out of the old pizzeria's remains, with a single physical threat: Springtrap. There is no door and no mask. Instead you play audio from a camera elsewhere in the building to draw it away from you, and keep doing that all night as it works its way back.
The complication is that your three systems, cameras, audio and ventilation, all break, and a broken vent system starts producing hallucinations that can end the night on their own. Rebooting takes time you do not have, so the game becomes a triage exercise where you are constantly deciding which failure you can live with for another thirty seconds.
Controls
Mouse to look, camera panel, audio lure, and the system reboot menu
Tips
- Play audio one room ahead of Springtrap, not in the room it is in. Lure it toward where you want it, not where it already is.
- Ventilation is the system to reboot first. Camera and audio failures cost convenience; a vent failure starts the hallucinations.
- The phantom scares cannot kill you directly, but they knock out a system. Expect one right after you fix something.
