Squid Game
Play the Netflix show's contests yourself: sprint on green, freeze on red, then survive tug-of-war, marbles and the glass bridge.
A browser take on the games from the Netflix series, built as a run of short elimination rounds. It opens on Red Light, Green Light: you sprint for the finish line while the giant doll faces away, and you have to be completely motionless by the time it turns, because any movement at all gets you shot.
What comes after varies by version, but usually covers the honeycomb cookie, tug-of-war, marbles and the glass stepping stones, where you are guessing which pane holds your weight. Rounds are short and failure is instant, so a session is a series of quick tense restarts rather than a campaign. Some versions put you in a lobby against other players.
Controls
Arrow keys or WASD to run; let go the instant the light turns red.
Tips
- The doll's turn speeds up as the round goes on, so take shorter dashes rather than one long sprint.
- Stop a fraction early on red, since the eliminations tend to be generous to the doll, not to you.
- On the glass bridge, hang back and let another contestant test a pane whenever the version allows it.
