Stickman Madness
A first-person stick-figure shooter from 2006: armed stickmen charge you in waves and you have a crosshair, a reload key and thin ammo.
A Flash shooter built around a single screen and a crosshair. Stickmen stream in from the sides and the distance, you click to drop them and hit space to reload, and the whole loop is whether you can clear a wave before it closes the gap. Health sits bottom-left, ammo bottom-right, and both drain faster than you would like.
It's crude and bloody in the way most mid-2000s stick games were, with a thin revenge plot about men in black hung over the top. The difficulty is pure volume: later waves send more enemies, arriving faster, and there's no cover to fall back on when a reload goes badly.
Controls
Mouse to aim and fire, Space to reload.
Tips
- Reload in the gaps between waves; being caught empty mid-rush is how most runs actually end.
- Shoot the closest enemy first, since distant ones do less damage than the ones already on top of you.
- Watch the ammo counter more than the health bar. Health you can lose, an empty clip you cannot.
