Stickman Climb 2
Your stickman is stuck in a pot with a pickaxe, and flailing it around is the only way up 62 levels of spikes and buzzsaws.
A Getting Over It-style physics climber. Your stickman is wedged in a heavy pot and cannot walk, so every metre of progress comes from swinging a pickaxe and using the recoil to drag, hook or launch himself upward. There are two directions of input and nothing else; all the difficulty sits in how much force you put behind a swing.
The sequel brings 62 single-player levels and a two-player mode on one keyboard. Courses are studded with spikes and buzzsaws, but there are checkpoints, so a botched swing drops you back at the last flag rather than the start, which is the mercy this genre usually refuses.
Controls
Arrow keys or A/D to swing the pickaxe; that is the entire moveset.
Tips
- Build a small swing into a bigger one. Trying to launch from a dead stop mostly just drops you.
- Hook the pickaxe over a ledge and pull, instead of trying to clear the gap in one motion.
- Spikes never move but buzzsaws do, so wait out the saw and take the spikes on your own timing.
