Soccer Skills Euro Cup
3D eleven-a-side football run entirely by dragging: pull back to move or shoot, and win a European knockout bracket.
Soccer Skills Euro Cup, by Radical Play, is a full 11-versus-11 football game with a single input - you drag back from the player you control and release. Drag length sets the power, so a short pull is a dribble or a tap pass and a long one is a shot or a switch across the pitch. Tackling is just steering into whoever has the ball.
You pick a European national side and play a single-elimination tournament through to a final, with corners, throw-ins, fouls and penalty shootouts all present. The teams are balanced, so results come down to your passing rather than the badge you chose. There's a practice mode for getting the drag feel right, which is worth ten minutes before the knockouts.
Controls
Mouse only - drag back from your player and release to move, pass or shoot
Tips
- Drag length is power: short pulls to keep possession, long ones only when you have a clear lane.
- Line the shot up before releasing - the ball leaves along your drag, not toward the goal.
- Defend by sitting in passing lanes; chasing the ball-carrier pulls your whole shape apart.
