Drift Hunters
Unity drifting game with 26 tunable cars and ten tracks, where you earn points by holding long slides and spend them on parts.
Drift Hunters is a 3D drifting game by Studionum43, out since 2017 and one of the few browser racers with genuinely decent physics. There are no opponents and no lap times. You pick a car, pick a track, and score points purely for holding a slide, with a multiplier that climbs the longer you stay sideways without spinning or straightening up.
Points are also the currency. They buy engine, turbo, gearbox, brake and weight upgrades, or your next car out of a roster of 26 with thinly disguised real-world names. The tuning menu goes deeper than most, letting you set camber front and rear, ride height, rear offset and brake balance, which matters more for holding an angle than raw power does.
Controls
WASD or arrows to drive, Space for handbrake, Left Shift and Ctrl to change gear
Tips
- One long slide scores far more than several short ones, because the multiplier resets when you straighten up.
- Tune camber and brake balance before buying engine power. A car you can hold sideways outscores a fast one.
- Feather the throttle through the drift instead of flooring it. A spin drops the entire accumulated multiplier.
