eat.io
A browser arena where everything on screen is either food or a predator, and which one depends entirely on whether you are bigger than it right now.
eat.io drops you into a shared arena as one of the smallest things in it. You grow by consuming anything smaller than you are, and anything larger than you is trying to do the same thing to you. There is no level structure and no ending, just a scoreboard that reshuffles constantly as players swallow each other.
The interesting part is that size is a liability as well as an asset. Getting big makes you slower and makes you a target that everyone on the board can see coming, so the players who last are usually the ones who stop feeding at the edges and start hunting the middle at exactly the right moment.

Tips
- Feed at the edges of the map early. The middle is where the big players circle, and they are looking for exactly the size you start at.
- Watch the size readout on anything approaching, not its apparent size. Zoom changes as you grow and makes distant threats look harmless.
- When something much larger commits to a chase, turn toward the crowd rather than into open space. It has to pick a target and you want options.
