Jetpack Joyride
Barry Steakfries steals a machine-gun jetpack and runs. Hold to rise, release to fall, and dodge zappers and lasers for as long as you can.
Jetpack Joyride is Halfbrick's endless runner, and the whole control scheme is one button. Holding it fires the jetpack and lifts you; letting go drops you. Everything else, the zappers, the guided missiles, the laser grids, is a matter of being at the right height at the right moment, and the level generator never stops speeding up.
Coins litter the route and vehicles drop in periodically, each with its own handling, which means a run can change character halfway through. Distance is the score, and there is no ending, so the game is about how long you can keep reading the hazards after your reflexes have started guessing.

Hold click, tap or space to fly; release to descend
Tips
- Fly in the middle of the screen by default. Both the floor and the ceiling are hazards and the middle gives you time to react.
- Ignore coins that pull you into a zapper. A full run beats a full coin line every time.
- Missiles telegraph with a warning light at the edge. Change height as soon as you see it, not when the missile appears.
