BasketBros
Arcade two-on-two basketball with real controls, dunks, blocks and a roster of unlockable characters.
BasketBros is the more serious cousin of the one-button basketball games — it has actual movement, shooting, passing, stealing and blocking, and the characters have different stats. It plays like an arcade sports game rather than a joke.
That makes it a better two-player game for anyone who wants the match to be decided by play rather than by physics. Dunks beat layups, blocks are timed, and stealing on the dribble is a real skill. There is a single-player ladder too, but it is clearly built for two people on the same keyboard.
Controls
Player one: WASD to move, B to shoot or steal. Player two: arrow keys, L to shoot or steal
Tips
- Time a block on the release rather than the jump. Early jumps leave the basket open.
- Dunk whenever you are close. It is almost unblockable compared to a shot from range.
- Steal on the dribble, not on the pass. Passes are too fast to intercept reliably.
