Basket Random
Two-on-two basketball with one button, randomised players, randomised courts and absolutely no dignity.
Basket Random is the basketball entry in the Random series and probably the best of them. One button makes your pair of ragdolls jump and reach, the court and the players reroll every point, and the ball physics is barely under anyone's control.
The reason it works as a two-player game is that neither player ever feels in control, so a lost point is always funny rather than unfair. Points happen fast, a first-to-five takes two minutes, and a lucky bounce off a head into the hoop counts exactly the same as a good shot.
Controls
Player one: W. Player two: up arrow
Tips
- Hold the button rather than tapping to stay reaching, since most baskets come from being in the air already.
- Let the ball come to you. Chasing it usually hands your opponent an open net.
- Each reroll changes the jump height, so test it on the first possession before committing to a shot.
