Bloons Tower Defense 2
Boomerangs and monkey glue join the roster in the first sequel, and lead bloons show up to punish an all-dart defence.
Bloons TD 2 arrived within a year of the original and is a deliberate correction to it. The headline addition is the boomerang, the first tower with a return path, but the more important one is the lead bloon, which simply cannot be popped by darts or tacks. Rainbow bloons arrive alongside it as the new top of the pecking order.
There are now three tracks, one for each difficulty, and a second road item in Monkey Glue to sit next to road spikes. The Super Monkey picks up Laser Vision. None of it is complicated by modern Bloons standards, but it is the entry where you first have to think about coverage types rather than just buying more of your favourite tower.
Controls
Mouse only; click towers, road spikes and glue onto the track, then Start Round
Tips
- Darts and tacks bounce off lead bloons. Have bombs in range before leads start showing up.
- Monkey glue only lasts the round, so drop it on the approach into your bombs rather than hoarding it.
- A boomerang hits a bend on the way out and the way back. Put it on the inside of a curve, never a straight.
