Castle Hero
Defend a castle wall with a bow, upgrading arrows and towers between waves of an army that keeps getting bigger.
Castle Hero puts you on the battlements with a bow and an endless supply of arrows while an army walks at your gate. Aiming is a physical act, with drop over distance, so hitting a moving target at the far edge of the screen means leading it and aiming high.
Between waves you spend gold on arrow types, wall repairs and automated towers that fire without you. The decision every round is whether to patch the wall you nearly lost or invest in the damage that means it will not get hit next time. Later waves include units that outrange you, which forces the upgrade path rather than letting you coast on aim.
Controls
Mouse to aim, click and hold to draw the bow, release to fire
Tips
- Aim above distant enemies. Arrows drop, and the further the target the higher you lead.
- Repair the wall before it is critical. A breach mid-wave costs far more than the repair would have.
- Towers fire while you are reloading, so early tower investment effectively doubles your damage output.
