CircloO
Roll a ball around the inside of a circle that grows larger with every collectible you reach.
CircloO is a minimalist physics platformer played entirely inside a circle. You are a ball, you can roll left and right and jump, and each collectible you reach expands the circle and adds new geometry inside it.
The clever part is that the level is the same level the whole way through — it just keeps growing, so the route you used at the start becomes a small detail of a much larger structure later. There is no text, no tutorial and no score, and it is one of the most elegant small games on the web.
Controls
Left and right arrow keys to roll, up arrow or Space to jump
Tips
- Momentum is everything. Build speed around the curve rather than trying to jump from a standstill.
- Rolling backwards first to get a run-up solves most gaps that look too wide.
- The circle keeps growing, so a route that is impossible now may be trivial two collectibles later.
