Cubefield
Steer a triangle through an endless field of coloured cubes that gets faster and denser the longer you last.
Cubefield has been on school computers since 2006 and has never needed a single update. You are a flat triangle sliding left and right across a plain that scrolls toward you at increasing speed, and the plain is covered in blocks.
There is nothing else to it. No score multipliers, no power-ups, no second mechanic introduced on level four. The entire game is reading the gap ahead and committing to it early, and the difficulty comes purely from speed. The palette shifts as you progress, which is the only indication that you are doing well.

Tips
- Look at the far end of the field, not at the cubes nearest you. By the time a near cube is visible it is already too late to react.
- Small corrections beat big ones. Slamming fully left or right carries you straight into the next column.
- Stay near the middle when the field opens up, so you have room to go either way when it closes again.
