Minecraft Tower Defense
Dig the path the creepers will walk, then line it with traps. You design the maze before you defend it.
Minecraft Tower Defense inverts the usual genre order. Instead of placing towers along a fixed route, you first dig the route yourself with a pickaxe, carving a path from the entrance down to your house through a block field.
Only then do the mobs walk it, and only then do you place TNT, arrow dispensers and lava along the way. Because you authored the path, a long winding one gives your traps more time to work but costs you digging time and leaves less money for the traps themselves. That tension between a long maze and a well-armed one is the whole game.
Controls
Mouse to dig blocks and place traps. Click the start button when the path is ready
Tips
- Dig a long snaking path rather than a short one. Every extra second of walking is free damage.
- Leave gold for traps. A beautiful maze with nothing in it does not stop anything.
- Place explosive traps at corners where mobs bunch up, so one charge hits several at once.
