Moto X3M Winter
Ice physics turn Moto X3M into a braking game: snowdrifts, icicles and frozen ramps where landing is the hard part.
Moto X3M Winter, the fourth game in the series, arrived in late 2018 and is the one that actually changes how the bike handles. The tracks are ice, so grip is low, the back wheel steps out under acceleration, and a landing that would be fine on dirt slides you straight into a spike. Snowmen, icicles, sledges and holiday trees fill out the levels.
That slipperiness is the point, and it makes Winter the entry experienced players rate hardest to three-star. Scoring is the series standard - flips subtract half a second, crashes add five, checkpoints let you retry a section instead of the level. Expect to spend more time thinking about braking distance than about stunts.
Controls
Arrow keys or WASD - up accelerates, down brakes, left/right flip in the air
Tips
- Brake far earlier than feels right; ice carries you several bike-lengths past where you'd normally stop.
- Land wheels-level - any tilt turns into a slide on ice, and a slide into a spike costs five seconds.
- Feather the throttle out of corners; flooring it just spins the rear wheel and loses you speed.
