Pizza Tower
A frantic momentum platformer about a pizza chef demolishing a tower, drawn like a cartoon having a breakdown.
Pizza Tower is built around speed in a way almost nothing else is. Peppino runs, and once he is running he does not want to stop — he smashes through walls, runs up them, and the entire scoring system rewards never slowing down.
The structure is the real hook. You explore a level at your own pace, then hit the escape trigger and have to retrace the whole thing at full sprint while it collapses behind you. The art style is deliberately ugly and expressive, somewhere between Ren and Stimpy and a fever dream, and the soundtrack is genuinely excellent.
Controls
Arrow keys or WASD to move, Z or Space to jump, X or Shift to dash and charge
Tips
- Hold the dash constantly. Peppino is designed to be played at top speed and the levels assume it.
- Explore first, then escape. The escape run is timed and retraces the route you just learned.
- Running into a wall at full speed breaks it. Most apparent dead ends are not dead ends.
