Kodub's low-poly time-trial racer: loops, ramps and hairpins where you restart instantly and grind tenths off your own ghost.
PolyTrack is a stripped-back racing game by Kodub, built around one idea - finish a short track as fast as possible. There are no surface types to learn, no car tuning and no campaign; just a low-poly car, a set of official tracks full of loops, corkscrews and jumps, and a restart key you'll be holding down constantly. It borrows openly from TrackMania.
Runs are timed between checkpoints and your personal best comes back as a ghost to race against, which is what turns a thirty-second track into an hour. A built-in editor lets you place road pieces, ramps and checkpoints and export the result as a shareable track code. This is the mirrored v0.4.1 build, with its leaderboard hosted here.
Controls
W/Up accelerate, S/Down brake, A/D or arrows steer, R restarts, V changes camera
Tips
- Restart the instant a corner goes wrong - a spoiled run is never worth finishing on a timed track.
- Brake before the corner, not in it; the car understeers badly if you turn while still slowing down.
- Watch your ghost's line rather than your own car - it shows exactly where the tenths went.
