Slope
Steer a chrome ball down an endless neon ramp that speeds up every second until one red block ends the run.
Slope is a three-dimensional endless runner with almost nothing in it: a ball, a downhill course made of glowing tiles, and a speed that never stops climbing. You steer left and right and that is the entire control scheme. Red blocks kill instantly, the track narrows and forks without warning, and the edges have no barriers at all.
The course is procedurally generated, so there is nothing to memorise - you are purely reacting, and the distance counter is the only score. Because speed scales with how far you've travelled, every run ends eventually; the only question is whether it's at the first ramp section or a few thousand metres down. Its reputation for being unfairly quick is deserved.
Controls
Left and right arrow keys, or A and D, to steer. There is nothing else.
Tips
- Steer in taps rather than holds - at speed a held key carries you off the side before you can correct.
- Watch the horizon, not the ball; by the time an obstacle looks close you have already hit it.
- Stay near the middle over ramps and jumps - landing off-centre is what kills most long runs.
