Snow Rider 3D
Sledge downhill forever, dodging trees and snowmen, collecting gifts to unlock increasingly silly sledges.
Snow Rider 3D is an endless downhill runner with a very clean feel. You steer a sledge down an infinite mountain, weaving between trees, rocks and the occasional snowman, and the speed climbs steadily the further you get.
It earns its place through the small things: the jumps over ramps feel good, the gift boxes give you a reason to take a riskier line, and the unlockable sledges are daft enough to be worth chasing. It is a short-session game that is unusually pleasant to look at for something this simple.
Controls
Arrow keys or A and D to steer, Space to jump
Tips
- Look well ahead of the sledge. At speed the trees you can see clearly are already unavoidable.
- Take the ramps. Being in the air clears obstacle clusters you could not weave through.
- Gifts are worth a detour early and never worth it once the speed is high.
