There Is No Game
The narrator insists this is not a game and asks you to leave. Doing anything else is how you play it.
There Is No Game is a puzzle game that spends its entire runtime denying that it is one. A narrator tells you there is nothing here, that you should close the window, and becomes increasingly irritated as you break the interface anyway.
The puzzles are all about misusing the page — dragging parts of the UI somewhere they should not go, clicking things that are clearly not buttons, using the loading bar as an object. It is short, consistently funny, and the kind of game that is completely ruined by a walkthrough, so resist looking one up.
Controls
Mouse only: click and drag anything, including things that do not look clickable
Tips
- Interact with the interface itself, not the scene. Scrollbars, logos and letters are usually the puzzle.
- If the narrator tells you not to do something, that is the instruction.
- Do not look up a walkthrough. The game is entirely made of surprises and there is very little left without them.
