Time Shooter
Time only moves when you move. Stand still and the bullets hang in the air waiting for you to decide.
Time Shooter is an unapologetic browser take on SUPERHOT, and it works. You are in a first-person arena with enemies shooting at you, but the world only advances in time while you are moving. Stand perfectly still and a bullet six inches from your face simply stops.
That makes every encounter a puzzle you solve at your own pace and then execute in one fluid half-second. Lean to let a shot pass, grab the gun out of the air, turn and fire. It is short, the aesthetic is clean white and red, and the moment-to-moment feeling of it is excellent.
Controls
WASD to move, mouse to aim, left click to shoot, right click or Q and E to throw and pick up weapons
Tips
- Stop moving to think. Time freezes completely and there is no penalty for taking as long as you like.
- Throw an empty gun at an enemy to stagger them, then take theirs out of the air.
- Move in short bursts. Holding a direction advances time far enough for three bullets to reach you.
