Gun Mayhem
Platform fighting where you win by knocking everyone else off the stage, with guns instead of fists.
Gun Mayhem is Smash Bros with firearms and it is one of the best local multiplayer games on the web. Four fighters on a small platform stage, each with a gun, and the goal is not to deplete health but to shove everyone else off the edge.
That changes the maths completely. Positioning beats accuracy, knockback matters more than damage, and the edge of the stage is the real weapon. There are bombs, a decent weapon roster and a single-player campaign, but the game exists for four people at one keyboard.
Controls
Player one: WASD to move, F to shoot, G for bombs. Player two: arrow keys, L to shoot, K for bombs
Tips
- Shoot people toward the edge rather than at them. Knockback direction wins rounds, raw damage does not.
- Double jump is your recovery, so never spend both jumps attacking away from the stage.
- Bombs clear a crowded platform instantly and are far better used defensively than offensively.
