Soccer Random
One-button football where the pitch, the players and the ball all change every goal. First to five.
Soccer Random applies the Random formula to football: two ragdolls, one button each, and a complete reroll of the conditions after every goal. Sometimes the ball is enormous, sometimes gravity is low, sometimes both players have legs that bend the wrong way.
Like the rest of the series it is built for two people at one keyboard, and the short rounds mean a bad roll never lasts. The single-button control means anyone can play immediately, which is the real reason these games spread the way they did.
Controls
Player one: W. Player two: up arrow
Tips
- Defend by standing still near your goal. Lunging at the ball is how most goals are conceded.
- The reroll changes everything, so spend the first touch of each round working out how high you jump.
- A deflection off your own player counts. Position in front of the ball rather than swinging at it.
